Of the original tracks: Zolder, Magny Cours GP, Spa and Imola.

Quite lot of ppl hate Anderstorp. I just can't as it's still almost the only track where I have gained podiums and usually get top 5 positions there.

I do like quite few tracks... Monthlery and Melbourne comes to my mind first.

I hate few tracks... Donnington is nowadays a nightmare to me (used to love it) as well as Sakhir was utter catastrophe.

I got a top 5 finish last week, in a Mustang - out of 20 starters, 5 finished...
It is a good track, but it is just too 'dork-friendly'.
Too many corners that seem to act as eject-buttons.
I always watch the mirror, but on that track you have nowhere to go when you see an idiot approaching.
A bit wider and it might have been fine....

BTW Donington als has a notorious first, third and fourth corner...
Man you are in trouble if you are in a Mini in 'the pack' on lap #1...

I think that calls for a modified Mini then.....something 'Mad Max' style with spiked bumpers and a cage around the whole car. It might give you some weight issues, but hey, I'm sure you could pack a V8 in that Mini, too!

I take the Mustang or the Falcon online now.
Can't be bothered to race the seriously flawed default-Mini anymore.
Since the 1310... that is, at long last, a REAL Mini with all its niggels and goodies.

If you want, you can race the 1310 online on the #3 GC-add-on server.

Cadwell, Goodwood, Crystal Palace, Donnington Park, Zolder 67. And Kyalami 79 for gtr2.
I like the 'ring', but its just to long for me to learn, also it´s very frustrating when after 7 min of driving you do a stupid misstake at mini-karusell and botch the whole lap:S

If anyone is interested...
6e66o has released a texture update for thr rFactor version of the GTL Magny Cours.
Since this was originaly a GTL track, the update works in GTL.

DO NOT COPY THE GMT FILES, ONLY THE TEXTURES

http://simscreens.blogspot.com/2008/...gny-cours.html
http://rapidshare.com/files/12758642...6e66o.rar.html

update:: GMT's tested and work great!
( Since I do not have permission to release them...
simply do a "direct conversion" with 3dsimed2 )

Riverside
Cadwell

Uwe's rendition of Machwerk 1967 ..If you are playing on your own (that sounded better in my head) it's you and your machine against the track ... if playing with others (this isn't getting any better) it's pure adrenalin, if you are playing the GTR2 version with the P&G Mod .. then it's a kleenex moment.

(You know.. I try to keep onanistic references out of my posts.. but it never works .. I guess I'm just and old .... ker )

I don't know if it is a flavour of the month thing for me....... but if you are running GT40's, 906's , Mclarens, 65 vettes, Cobra Daytonas or AC cobras (basically all the fast GTC65 class) the answer has to be "Rouen les Essarts".........superb. God I wish GTL had a fast slippery Ferrari to match

Watkins Glen for the stangs & the coons & the Perana
