AI just revvin' ???

Hi folks, I've noticed that some download cars have this problem The AI just revs the heck out of the engine in the pit boxes. Go forth to the race and they just sit on the starting grid (standing or rolling) in neutral with the revs redlining. It sure does screw up races with half the grid bunching up behind.

Now I have also noticed that some default cars have the same problem, the Morgan and the TVRs. Why? I have to my knowledge not tinkered with any files relating to any of these cars. If someone has an idea as to why and what to do to rectify this, please sing out.

is this a specific track or all off them?

Not particularly track specific as far as I can tell. It happens with both download and default tracks.

sounds like you got a mod that not working properly.you could spend all day try to located it.or reinstalled rfactor and goto the links below and register and installed the p2p script, that way you know it going to work properly.doesn't take long to gather the mods up again.

Interesting that you say a mod that ain't working right..... I have not installed any mods that have included the default Morgan and TVR files in them, yet these are the ones that give the most trouble. When these cars run at any of the tracks I have, the AI simply cannot drive.
I can use the problem vehicles without issues, it is the AI that cannot.
Guess this is gonna be a fresh install......

well i think it to do with the track mods terrain files. i had the same with the Toyota corrola and desert mesa, refused to leave the garages,

Hmmm, so how does one explain default cars on Spa, a default track? Both cars and track are comprised of 100% original files.
