Hi Guy & Gals,
Does anyone know why the driver disappears under heavy breaking in some mods? You see it in the garage sometimes when the seat is too far forwards or backwards, then the driver becomes invisible! thanks fRac |

It has to do with lod files. I had the same problem with other parts of cars and wheels a few years back. It takes some numbers adjustments in the lod files but I don't have enough knowledge about this stuff.
oops. Disregard this and read the lowere post. Sorry. |

I had the same problem a few years back with a sterring wheel. It has to do with the LOD files. Here is the thread that I started and maybe it will help with your problem or point you in the right direction.

That did the trick, I edited the line in the .cas file... ""Instance=FPDRIVER { Moveable=True <NOTSPIN><DASHHIGH> MeshFile=INT_DRIVER_STYLE<23>.gmt CollTarget=False HATTarget=False ShadowReceiver=True LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(1.00)"" to LODOut=(4.00) and it seems to have worked! Thanks again David A, fRac |
