Default Logitech MOMO Racing No FFB

Repost from Computech Thread:

Hi,

One afternoon I used it briefly with Shift 2. The FFB was working fine all throughout the game, then I stopped and shut down the PC.

An hour or two later I fired up Shift 2 again only to find out the wheel doesn't have any FFB at all. I unplugged the adaptor. I unplugged and re-plugged the USB--still no FFB from the wheel.

I downloaded again the latest drivers for my Win7 64. Uninstalled the old one, and then installed the new one--no response still.

The power indicator in the wheel is still lit so clearly it shows that there's power coming from the adaptor. The adjacent indicator also lights up when I fire up a driving game (Shift 2 and LFS 2).

Any ideas what could've happened? I've had this wheel since 2007.

I fixed it. Completely Uninstalled the drivers. Deleted any files that may be part of the old drivers. Restarted the PC and then re-installed the latest drivers.

I'm reducing the FFB settings to preserve my wheel as well. Can't afford to buy a new one anyway.
