This upgrade fixes some bug of my "F1 2008 more fps patch by Xammyboy" and contain instructions for correctly patching the mod. F1 2008 1.3

The F1 2008 v. 1.31 is this (your) update, right?
We are not puting your fps and your fps update on some other v. 1.31, right?
I could only find the original v 1.2 then v.1.3 then your two updates, right?
If there is a v.1.31 to be installed before your 2 fps updates, where is it, please?

@xammyboy: I didn't get your first fps update to work, because of some missmatches in file structure.
For example: sincse installing the f1 mod's from v1.0 till v1.3 the structure is GameData/Teams/F1/F1-2008.... but your F1-2008 folder from the rar goes into "Teams" than into "F1". So first i realiced no effect, and then, after droping you're F1-2008 under "F1" and letting overwrite my F1-2008, the cars don't show up anymore ingame!

I also noticed a difference between original "torro rosso" and your "toro rosso" with one "r"! So i just wonder how it could work for others or whether i have a wrong mod version?

Coulkd you do a new all in one patch with these things sorted and upload again?

Would be great!!!

OK, Palco, at the site you listed I only see 1.2, 1.3 and then the fps update so I gather there is no "other additional" 1.31 and that this fps update is in fact the "1.31".

1) There is a:
F1.2008.Mod.v1.2.GTR2 ...and a
F1.2008.Mod.v1.3.update.G2.

3) It contents some mistakes

3a)The destination folder was :
Yourgamefolder\GameData\Teams\F1\F1_2008
and not:
Yourgamefolder\GameData\Teams\F1_2008

3b)There were some buggs i've tried to repair with my

"F1 2008 more fps upgrade 1" hosted by Nogrip\mods.

3c) Oops, i had changed the name folder of Toro Rosso

from
"TorroRosso STR2B"
to...
"ToroRosso STR2B"
...i did't remember that step !
The graphic file "08TOR.GTR" must be put in the

right folder(TorroRosso STR2B with 2 "r"), the one

containing also
08014_F1_2008_ToroRosso.car
08014_F1_2008_ToroRosso_tech1.txt
Toro_Rosso_STR2B.hdc, etc.
...or the Pc will go to read the old one (no crash

anyway)

Now, i hope you can manually fix these bugs (see also

the readme file into my F1 2008 more fps upgrade 1

....hosted by Nogrip\mods.

I am now testing the new version of F1 2008 Patch

more fps that i'll upload soon...

Hmm wouldnt it b far less confusing and problem preventive to release a patch including all updates eg 1.2 1.3 and 1.4 together with all the fps upgrades in 1 download with clear instructions and corrected names and installation folders so that people are not so confused and everything works properly

Though I ask again plz Will this fps patch cause missmatches online I would presume the upgrade patches wont as long as everyone has upgraded to the same level ie 1.4

I finally got the 1.4 full version going, and it's truly a work of art. Great job and many thanks to everyone who made this possible.

I had some trouble getting everything going, but transferred the contents of each sub-folder directly into the corresponding folder in my GTR2 directory.

Should this 1.4 version be complete, and not need any of the fps or other patches? I don't want to mess up what is right now a good thing.

All I need is a newer, (faster/bigger) computer!
