Raced from 1960 by John Ogier's Essex Racing Stable, and driven at various events by Roy Salvadori, Sterling Moss, Jim Clark and Innes Ireland.

Sorry; apparently I used an old .car file from the beta test. Not too much drama but the car was linked to the Ferrari and not the Austin Healey.

Thanks to hatchjaw for alerting me to the problem.

I've managed to download the beautiful new DB4GT cars ok and they work a peach - I just can't get the engine sound to work. I know it wasn't a battery car! Anybody any ideas about what I'm doing wrong? I'm probably being very stupid. Thanks in advance.

The whole package is packed in a GameData folder which places everything in the correct place.

That should just be placed in your main GTL folder.

How did you install it?

My game crashes every time i select this car! And in the description it is exactly the same info as the car below it! HELP!

That update was for people who downloaded the car before V1.02. And it should not cause a CTD without that upgrade.

Do you have Version 1.2 of the Aston?

If you have, can you post a trace file?

Thanks a lot sunalp2, I did not have the version 1.2. I have now, and the original skins work, but selecting the skin in this package it still crashes. Last few lines from the trace file shows:

Isn't this what lines you normally get showing up in the 'trace log' file when entries in the Classes="" line in the .CAR file has no reference in the Classes="" line in the .GDB file?

And btw Frank, lovely DB4 GT skin m8...
