Hello everyone!
Ok, so, here's the deal. I'm making a circuit in BTB, using the trial version, which is two days in now, (hence I'm in a hurry to work this out, lol!) I downloaded Racer, in order to try out my circuit's shape, width and elevation, as these things aren't quite clear in BTB. I exported it to Racer, played it and found that, as I'd not added a sky dome or anything, it looked like I was on LSD, all blurry and trippy. So, I decided, in order to make it possible to see whilst driving, to line the circuit with a load of trees, to block out the non-existent background. This kind of worked, only it gave me quite a lot of lag. So, I'd now like to remove said trees, but can't figure out how to. Please, before someone says to delete them one-by-one, imagine spending thirty years of your life clicking and deleting virtual trees... That's not going to be practical at all. Is there a way to select all trees and delete them all? Many thanks! ![]() Glen. [EDIT] Hey, Glen. Does going into Edit Objects, pressing ctrl+A and hitting DELETE do anything for you? Jeeze what a muppet! Can someone ban me, please? -.- I do apologise for my noobishness there, folks!

Yes. In 3d view Left click near to your trees and hold down. Draw a line round your trees (lassoo) to select them and then hit delete. This works for any objects.

Thankyou, Nige! Oh, I dunno, I've been 3D'ing on computers for years, how could I be such an eejit?
I guess it would really help if I could get the sky working in Racer... I'm not sure how to make a sky dome on here, does anyone know? Thankyou muchly! ![]() Glen. |

Glen, if there ain't a quick answer here (sorry I don't have one since I don't haver Racer on me Mac right now), check the BTB forums at Racedepartment. Decent chance of getting a modder's answer there.

It's ok, thankyou! Racer is pretty dire actually, so I just got Rfactor, and it all works brilliantly in that. Thankyou anyway!
