Default Logitech G27 pulls to the sides.

Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with my Logitech G27.

In rFactor, the wheel will pull all the way left, or all the way right. It kind of falls to the "software" stops at positive and negative 90degrees.

When I unplug and replug the USB connector while in a race, the issue is fixed. However next time I start it's the same thing again.

Help!

Go into your rFactor controller options. Go to Force Feedback and set the slider to minus whatever number you have there. E.g. If it's 100 then change it to -100

If it was an ingame setting, why is it fixed by replugging the USB ingame?

Not sure why its fixed when you plug it back in, its a logitech thing. If you choose one of the presets in controller settings ingame it has it set to -100 aswell.

Well I am going to assume you are not using reverse force as advised otherwise you would have said so.

Reverse the Force Feedback like I said and it should fix it. I doubt Logitech sell dodgy wheels as I've had my G27 for a few months and never had any problems because I had a G25 before and my settings carried over. Logitech wheels have an issue where you need to reverse the Force Feedback or else you'll get the problem you're talking about.

ISI released an updated EXE that adds support for the G27 LEDs and also reverses the reversed FFB. So if you have the old EXE then you need your FFB set to -100. If you have the new EXE you set the force to +100.

Thanks for the quick replies guys

Negative values fixed my problem.

Based on replies, looks like nogrip is going to be my forum of choice for racing sims

BTW, the link to download ISI's new version of rFactor.exe that adds LED support is here:

Never knew rFactor released the led update, I got a plug in by someone else, here at NoGrip I believe. Reversing the force isn't a problem if you know about it
Enjoy your stay mate
