Porsche 906 Spyder

Herb Wetanson Special

Driver/Owner: Herb Wetanson.

Porsche Chassis #906-132 was delivered new to Herb Wetanson/USA in 1966.

1966 Can Am results:

Bridgehampton: finishing 17th with 59 laps completed.
Watkins Glen: finishing 7th with 91 laps completed.

The car has had the roof re-instated and still survives in Germany.

Due to the roof being cut off, it is a little bit lighter and the CG has been lowered. The car comes with it's own HDC.

No special files required, it just goes into your Porsche 906 folder in standard GT Legends

I did some research and the real name was Wetanson but had been cut to Wetson for the Fast Food restaurants so it appears as Wetson or Wetanson depending of the races and the cars :a mystery solved.

The family name was (and is) Wetanson. The 'Wetson' moniker was adopted for naming their chain of 15-cent (later 19-cent) hamburger stands, 1959-1975. (The bun was extra.)
