Last night i hosted a dedicated server running Donnington + other tracks and even though i got in without any problems, my mate kept on getting booted 'for being a possible cheat' and for me it said 'track mis match', what does this mean? Im sure he has the same version as myself, (which is the one off here)
Can someone shed some light on this matter please.... thanks |

Hard to say what went wrong, but it do seem that there is a problem with your friends version. Even though you have downloaded the same version, you can still get a mismatch problem if you had an earlier version before that still have "remains" left in the folder structure.
I wasn't planning on replying in this thread, as I hoped someone more knowledgable would help you out, but I think we can both agree that that didn't happend

aye i know that feeling... he has never added 3rd party tracks in the past as he has only just got the game via steam, and i linked him to the same download page i used, but after he lowered his gfx settings he managed to get in...weird i know
