Indeed, but sunset lighting looks always better. Did they release a full daylight shot?

Following all the news, this game/sim seems to be shaping up greatly! I bet other recent software developers in the same genre can soon pack up and go home. Kunos, with FVR and NKP, have shown before of what they're capable of.

Wow, very impressive. The lighting and shadows are excellent.
Great smoke effects in one shot, is that an engine blowing? |

How about the driving aids in AC like the Lotus DPM? Is there something simulated? |

impressive graphics. i must say that AC is now where all my hopes lie for a good old-fashioned no-fees/no-milking/no-online-only new-gen sim.
if all the promises that were made here before are met, then my hopes won't be in vain. cheers, guys. |

I don't see it as a good old fashioned racing sim. Development of old fashioned racing sims stopped after release. Kunos have said they want to continue development of AC and plan to have DLC. I think this is great but I know a few think its "milking".

can't wait to drive this exige s v6... maybe we won't be driving 458 italia but exige v6 is truely exciting car. especially after reading and watching many reviews of this new lotus it looks like it is brilliant fun to drive. really can't wait to drive it.

WE agree on Iracing stuff, DLC it depends, modern companies use DLC in order to sell a finished game in pieces at a higher price
Pictures of AC always look good, but since it is a full game,I would like to know more info about it. Since the waiting is longer than expected I would like to ask if AC will have any online DRM for single player. If it does have I can at least stop waiting for it. Thanks a lot Last edited by shadow explorer; 8 November 12 at 13:40. |

1) they improve the game engine 2) fix existing bugs 3) add extra content 4) are free or, at the very least - and only if the added content justifies it - very cheap (never more than 5$) if these points aren't matched, we're facing a milking strategy. charging more than 5$ for a DLC that only adds a couple of cars or a new menu IS milking. i was - and until proven wrong, still am - under the impression that Kunos and his fellows won't exploit their loyal costumers like this. i want to believe that they will have the respect and consideration for their costumers (without whom they wouldn't make any revenue) and not slap them a sticker on their foreheads that reads "gullible cash cow". there are already a bunch of other devs doing that. let's hope Kunos Simulazioni will opt for a different path and be a tad more respectful. i would also like to know that. |

^ I kinda agree but i would gladly pay 15e for dlc if it's quality is something like P&G v3, and it adds say full grid of 70's tc's as an example.

Yes it looks good, so does pCARS and RR1
What do we know about it really. Physics, tyres, suspension rF2 put in news months before Beta release. What do we know about AC besides a mission statement and the things it wont have. ie: No Motion support ( oh dear ! ) , etc, etc In rF2 Monaco video I could see how a F3 really drove, dancing about, tyre deform, etc You could almost feel it. pCARS and AC videos never have that presence for me. |
