Default Original Track Textures Help

Hi,

I screwed up and applied a texture update for Zhuhai, without backing up the original track. I like the new textures, but my PC lags with a large field.

I read here somewhere about accessing the original content from the disk, but when I try to explore it, the only folder I can see is Support. All the good stuff seems to be in Bin files.

All I want is the original track on one of my installs.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

I did the same with Monza and Imola. Could someone zip and upload these original textures (Rapid Share)?

I don't think that is legal on this site, because they are original. I just hope I don't have to reinstall again. I am out of space on my hard drive.

No way is anyone going to upload original files. You can just install the game again and get any original files that way.

@ Dartguy- To do a second install just go to C:\GTR2.exe\ right click and select explore from the drop down menu. In that folder you will find GTR2 setup. Run that and your golden.

Thanks Steve,

I just hoped to avoid reinstalling. So if I get you right, I don't need the disk again. It should install alot faster?

Because of my lack of space, I'll have to delete my online install first. Oh well.

BTW, I tried your idea to run under Dx 7 and it helped, but only a little. I think I'll just have to wait til I can upgrade to be happy.

Thanks again,

Jon
