Question Post your own Fia GT1 calendar

What would be your choice of tracks for the Fia GT1 World Championship.

Considering traveling mine would be in the following order:
1. Silverstone GP
2. Spa Francorchamps
3. Nurburgring GP
4. Monza GP
5. Laguna Seca
6. Suzuka GP

So what would be your choice?

In no particular order: Portimao, Paul Ricard, Jarama, Spa, Donington, Rockingham, MidOhio, Laguna, Nelson Piquet (Brazil aka Jacarepagua), Nurburgring, Most, Dubai

Definately not Oschersleben

Spa Francorchamps
San Luis
Laguna Seca
Road America
Road Atlanta
Mid Ohio
Mt Tremblant
Paul Ricard
Silverstone
Donington
Assen
Suzuka

Shuffle them in the best order for the sake of logistics.
Looking at them I surprise myself at how many North American tracks I listed and how few Tilkedromes.

You almost made a championship for the american continent Road America is very nice indeed, I'm not sure if I like Laguna Seca more.
Anyway, one of the things I wanted to see is how many of you prefer Spa to Zolder like me, and the answer is all so far

In no particular order

Hockenheim GP or Nordschleife (Germany) - Hockenheim is one of the few Tilkedromes I like, shame they left the old circuit to grass over and rot.
Spa or Zolder (Belgium)
LeMans - Bugatti or La Sarthe (France)
Brands Hatch GP (Britain) - not a huge fan of Silverstone, it gets used too much and the only major series I can think that runs Brands is the BTCC.
Porto (Portugal)
Motegi or Fuji (Japan) - Suzuka gets used too often.
Adelaide Clipsal 500 layout (Australia)
Montreal (Canada)
Daytona Road Course (US) - Good enough for the WSC in the 70s.
Circuit De Catalunya (Spain)

"...Hockenheim is one of the few Tilkedromes I like..."

Fuji and Montmelo (Catalunya) are also Tilkedromes. I tend to agree about Silverstone. Brands Hatch is a much nicer track visually. I agree about Suzuka to but I think it's the best Japanese track.
I love Nordschleife and Sarthe but now Fia GT1 is sprint races.

Interesting. I actually wasn't aware that the Circuit De Catalunya was a Tilkedrome. Vaguely recall reading the Fuji redesign was his work though.

Actually I was wrong. On the site Catalunya is in the list but in the details it states only the grandstands, and I checked on wiki and the track is not in the list of tracks he created.

Nah, it's not gonna happen on Silverstone since they decommissioned the Bridge section. Blame the motorcyclist for this!

The old layout is still there and is still used (Silverstone Classic). Plus, this is 'ideal'

Are you sure? I remember during last years GP coverage David Croft mentioned that the Bridge-priory section had been dug up. I Also distinctly remember Antony Davidson describing this revelations as "Sacrilege".
