Detroit Belle for GTR2 by motorfx

Detroit Belle vers 1.0,
This is a conversion of "Jpalesi's," excellent rfactor version. this is the layout based on the track as used in 98. original work by JpAlesi. I only optimised the track wanting to use the detailed models and yet keep FPS up so resized the gmts and altered some textures so I could adapt the track for Race Series and GTR2..
rain reflections and animated marshals added, gtr2 style lights,
some extras provide by "Simbin", "Virtua_LM", and "Team players"

thank you all,
unfortunately after releasing the version for Race series, a small problem showed up with a couple of curbs, .. now fixed in vers 1.1 .. I have also uploaded just a track update with fixes for those users that have already downloaded vers 1.0

I tried to play with 14 opponents and in practice the pit spot was in the sand which means I can't move because I'm stuck in the sand.

Looks fantastic but even on a high end system with 2X 6970s the frame rate is very choppy in places - and that is just with a few other cars on track. No other good tracks give me this problem, that all run 150-200 fps if I turn off vsync.

Great racetrack, love specially the way the tires fly everywhere if you hit the tire-wall at turn 6. Wish that was at every tire-wall at every track!

Ken, the track looks beautiful but I noticed some problems: a) some of the cars are not properly placed in the pits, as they are outside the pit wall; and b) the track CTD when I hit 'return to garage' after crashing against the tire wall at the end of the longer straight in my out lap.
There are some (minor ?) problems with the frame rate, too, but my experience with the track was too short for a proper report.

crikey its not like the ED I know,

you were usually the first to comment .. you may notice I had a bit of glitch myself at the time of release in May, and ended up re releasing ... updates..
I thought cars were now parking in correct places now, let me know which car mod and how many cars you race with ..and I'll try and replicate issues ..
