Default Silverstone GP lap times in the Lambo. I need help!

I see Hotlaps for this as good as 1.35.xx in th Lambo Murci. I for the life of me cannot get this time. From everyones knowledge are these times people are running in Novice mode with everything on or in Semi pro or even Sim?

I have tried many set up and I my best is 1.39.xx (I'm way off!)

Any help would be great.

I'm using a G25 wheel, manual shift. I've tried Novice and Sim. Just can't seem to get a better time. One thing I noticed is in the last turn (or last two I guess) the wheels are screeching very bad and I seem to lose a lot of time in these two turns.

On a side note, how in the heck is the #1 guy 30 seconds faster then everyone else? That can't be right!

Because the time is actually 1:35.972. Good catch.

I've been concentrating on the Lamborghini and I've discovered that it is very easy to over-drive this car. You can lose a lot of time entering corners too fast and fighting the car all the way through the corner, the excess power is not always your friend. I only started lapping fast in it around Magny Cours GP by not being pants-on-fire, i.e. feathering the throttle and, above all, getting your braking and downshifting done early. You can't steer it by weight transfer like the Porsche. Check your gearing, too and prioritise the corners; Stowe and Copse are crucial for a good lap time at Silverstone GP because they lead onto the longest straights so a balanced corner entry leading to a good exit is key. Don't go in too hot. And see how little rear wing you can get away with, I reckon I'd start at 6.

FWIW, check out my Silverstone tutorial vid here.

I've watched it already. Actually watching your tutorial is why I'm driving on the track now! LOL Thanks for the headaches!

Oh no, now I feel bad! Well if you want to drive a few laps online at Sil in the Lambo over the weekend, let me know, although I've never driven the track in this beast. And I guess we'd both have to have the identical track mod.

Haha I'm only giving ya a hard time! I'm glad I watched it because now I love that track! I'd love to do some laps this weekend but my g/f is coming into town for the weekend and I am not sure when I will be free.

When do you usually play?

As for the same track, I downloaded the track from here. Is there more then one Silverstone GP on this site? Also, it looks to be the same one for the HOTLAPS section here.
