The danish Aston with Poulsen/Nygaard/Simonsen is doing pretty well in the GT/Am class. They should, when you see that Simonsen is the "Pro" driver, and that the 2011 privateer champion in WTCC (Poulsen) is an "Am" driver.

Well, I agree that Poulsen is a good driver, but he's not to be considered gold yet.
But I agree there are some silver drivers who really are to be considered gold. Quite an arbitrary system if you'd ask me.

Yeah, it isn't working very well. They even had it in pit with a laptop connected to the cam, but for no good. Either that or the ECU connection is at the cam.
Scalage: All of the drivers in the Danish Aston have sported podiums at Le Mans. Poulsen has even won here!

I'd doubt that the description 'car' applies to the ridiculous device.
Experimental 'shopping trolley' is more to the point.

It would seem the 'Purple Pole Syndrome' is firmly entrenched, all those ridiculous dorsal fins just make the cars look really Fugly.

GTE Pro is "slightly modified standard sports cars with 440 to 500 hp and a minimum weight of 1,245 kilograms ", the F458 lists 465hp.

"Three Ferraris led the GTE-Pro speeds, with Olivier Beretta in the AF Corse #71 at a stunning 296.9kph (184.4 mph) while Toni Vilander had a 292.1 (181.5 mph) in the #51.

The two Corvettes led a large group at 290.6 kph (180.5), the same speed as the JMW Ferrari, both Team Felbermayr Proton Porsches, and the #79 Flying Lizard Porsche. "

I wonder how good it would be with aero parts on the upper side, like every racing car has for the last decades.

EDIT: 4: Graham & Phil Hill, Jochen Rindt and Mike Hawthorn.
