GTL Loading Issue

I decided to play some GTL, after installing it and playing it for a while when I came back it would not load at the start "checking for CD" menu, it just froze. Any ideas? Is this a common issue? Is there a No CD mod for GTL?

You can get a 'No CD' version without Starforce from Raceroom.net and if you have the original disc it's free too!

Got it working, thanks! Found a no CD patch and now it works like a charm.
