World Super GT Mod v1.0. GTR2 Release
_________________________________ Important Note !! : >>> People that have the old WSGT xmass release installed are encouraged to remove all files of that release. The old WSGT mod could cause problems for your new WSGT V1 release. <<< Finally, it is released after a year of development…..First, the history of the mod and the team. Many things did change during the last two years of develloping the WSGT Mod. The original WSGT mod was started on the 1st August 2006 as a team SSR project. In September, the original RMT was founded by Andrew(as known as Rictus Grin), and did take over the project. A Demo of the original WSGT mod was released on 25th December 2006, which was done in very low quality and with tons of bugs. The development of the original mod lasted until ist leader Andrew left to join Team A-A on the 21st February 2007. More and more members left the team untill only Klaas and Arnold where left. Although Klaas had reformed RMT, and Wix and his team BSR joined the team, the mod development was still frozen for almost 5 months. The 1st of August 2007 Marek aka Revelli and Adison aka AS-GTR joined the team, Work on the mod restarted. All the old productions and data of the original WSGT were scrapped, and this resulted in all new models. The development went very smooth after the restart. The Team spirit had become a positive factor, and finally here we are with the release. Mod Features: - 7 new car models with detailed cockpits and textures. -highly developed physics with suspension geometries modeled with references of photos -Realistic Engine sounds -New special effects sounds -Fully detailed drivers suits -Fully compatable with GTR2 -Optimized LODs -New showroom and showroom menu -and more. Awesome job guys.In fact it actually made go back to gtr2 from evolutiom also lol.Cockpits are amazing and the Astons also. The Ferraris are tricky to drive but nothing that some practice doesnt cure
![]() Thank PS Why converting to Evo?? What does evo than gtr2 doesnt have? I think its otherwise gtr2 has things that miss in evo.Convert to Rfactor would be a great idea imo

there is no C6R in the WSGT 1.0 ( the mod is entirely scratch build , and has nothing to do with the old xmass demo )
There will be a brand new high detailed Corvette in the WSGT V2.0 |

- Mini Review - Driving impressions
DBR9: Nice Drive, the best GT? DBRS9: Bad low speed handling, bad brakes ( this should "feel" similar to the DBR9, it dont. ) F50: Oversters at all speeds, bad brakes FFX: Horendous understeer and aero ( again, the 2 Ferraris should "feel" similar, they dont ) Trofeo: Good all around, however... very lackluster, boring. McLaren: whats up with the stretched MoteC ? Odd physics, cant place the feel, or rather odd feel. I would think a car of this caliber in full race trim has provisions for an adjustable rear anti-roll? Ultima: Mabey the best car in the bunch, get this guy to fix the other cars physics. Great sounds as well. Graphical issues, drivers hands badly aligned and steering wheel has been lowered showing the stub steering colum on the dash. Minor MoteC mis-alignment in the display. Love the showroom, and you used an idea I had with the movies on the widescreen! overall a good mod, outstanding models and paints, sound can use help, physics.. well thats said above. ( and better than what I expected after hearing they were worse than NAGT, which they are not ) Overall... Graphics = 9.5 Details = 7.5 Physics = 6.0 Sounds = 8.0 Last edited by RMi Release Group; 14 September 08 at 01:35. |

Just had a quick blast, fantastic job, my favourite so far is the mclaren f1 so addictive to drive cant stop setting fastest laps at virtua midohio......the detail in the cockpit is a work of art.......test the rest later.
Thanks to the whole team and look forward to more cars in the future, im so jealous of your skills. |

[quote=RMi Release Group;358757]- Mini Review - Driving impressions
dont get me wrong , i can apreciate the constructive critisime
i dont know for the Ferrari because i never was in one, but i can asure you the DBRS9 does not feel the same as a BBR9. I also doubt that the F50 would feel the same as the FXX . The Fxx produces allot less down force and has a higher gravity point then the F50. Brakes are different too . all in all , thanks for the evaluation. |

DBRS9 and DBR9 are totally different animal, despite the namesake. DBRS9 is supposed to be a GT3 car, makes minimum downforce, and is largely related to the roadgoing car. DBR9 is a purpose built car, with only the roof being the unaltered item from the road car in general....DBRS9 should drive like NAGT cars, as it is the same car(and there is nothing wrong with NAGT neither)....FXX is a rich people's track toy, and F50GT is a stillborn GT1 car for the 1996 season....
Haven't tried Trofeo or Ultima yet. But the rest: DBR9: Drives like a standard GTR2 car, which is a good thing, such it will blend in well when you put it with other cars. Predictable handling and exploitable limit. F50GT: Good grip, ok brake, could probably use more downforce, but I have a feeling that this was the problem with the real car, which is why it never raced. Car gets real twichy at speed(car gets real loose around a corner like Bridge at silverstone....). FXX: only really drove like 5 mins and gave up. Having trouble putting power down in a straightline with no TC. As a richman's plaything I think its too suicidal... ![]() McLaren: Kinda like F50 GT, the car is twichty in general. And the real car do not have rear anti-roll bar. The road going car does not have roll bar at all..... Lovely mod, very nice to look at, and most are very nice to drive.....I'd love to stay in the FXX a bit more, but I just can't tame the beast...maybe I should start using TC and such... Most cars are screaming high rev cars here....needs that C6.R back to put some rumble back in....

Biiig problem!, driver suit texture is not showing up in cockpit view:
![]() ¿Is there some way to force default driver textures?. Also I don´t like the new show room for non wsgt vehicles, its obstrusive, produces a massive performance hit (110fps to 40) and zooming out/in becomes very unresponsive, I need to deactivate the feature, please tell me how (this alone makes me wish to uninstall it, sadly) ps.- Windshields are too dark

McLaren is even scarier at speed than the F50GT....going through that "kink' on the back stretch at Mid-Ohio, the car does this little wiggle, like the back end is floating, it'll oscillate a few times then settles back down....for a car with that big of a rear wing it certainly seem a little odd...

F50GT is so frustrating to drive. It's trickiest thing I've ever driven in GTR2. And I was expecting so much from it.
It's like when you're pushing it hard and you think:"Aah.. now it's going well.", and suddenly it just snaps out of control and after 1/100th of a second you are dead. When it lets go there is nothing to do. FFX just floats. IMO it's pointless car(but it's just IMO) McLaren looks... well... stunning. Both inside and outside. By just looking at it you immediately know it has been made with passion. I'm not so keen of it's physics but I'll come around Aston Martin... I think I'll keep this version and delete other versions. Stunning as McLaren. Easier to drive. and other cars... oops. need to test drive them too. Cheers, Kub |

The handling in the Fxx and the McLaren is weird, needs a fix.
Aston martin skins are great, very good work in all models and cockpits, really. Now if only I could fix the arm textures and the buggy show room.
