I am getting a new system and my choices are now down to two cards ( it is what is offered) a ATI Radeon X 600 or a Nvida G Force 6800. The Nvida being the more expensive, both cards are 256 memory. Is there a noticable difference? If any one has any suggestions as to which might be the better card It would be appreciated.
Thanks CDK |

Thanks for the link, I took a look around and got some figures and this was also enough to set me off on a couple of searches myself. There is such a overwhelming aray of choices that it is hard to pick out just one that will be both efficient and not gold plated with out the performance.

This is comming from a man who has been buying budget cars all his life
![]() DONT DO IT. Just buy a high end card and you will save money in the end. Wait a month collect some money and buy something like a 7800 It will last you 2 years.I bought an 850PE in the summer, it was a lot of money but I am happy, since I can still max out 90% of the games. |
