As it'll probably take some time before I get anything new here's my current 'setup' .

Too much stuff around the system now though. And don't try to copy my GTL keys which are on the Post-it note :p.

I just took it off, you can unscrew it withouht opening the wheel or anything. I do put it back in for RBR, for the hand brake.

Amazing! Better then the real thing

But they do feel great, leagues above anything plastic that I have used over the years.
I thought the act-labs were good, but they are nothing in comparsion.
I recomend these for anyone, they do cost a bit, but face it, you will never need to buy another set, because really the build quality is of military grade, and I have set in tanks to confirm this

It's a nice wheel. The wheel itself is nice and thick, nice grips, the buttons fall right into place with your thumbs. It's built pretty well. A nice heavy feel if you set up the spring in the properties right.

This is my second one. I bought it refurbished from Saitek for $35 plus shipping. I am going to send in my damaged one next month to get repaired, and eventually I'll pick up another 2 or 3. When my sons get older we can all race together.

Nope...the desk sucks though. I might build a new shelf unit for it so we can put the monitor in front though...or just get a new desk.

Here is a pic of my setup. It was made for GT4 and ive since only just got into PC sims.

I would like to have a clutch though, but aftermarket pedals and stuff are very expensive!!

in the meantime, on the other side of the scale :

another nice picture to show the technology behind my 4:1 surround system:

and yes, the red tape holds the wheel together more or less. The old wooden table adds a nice acoustic touch to force feedback rumbles. The ashtray must have dropped, it's normally near the mouse.:p
