I believe someone released a version a while back.
It had a few problems so they took it down. No idea what the status is now. |

Hi Pawgy,
sometime ago "DEEB0rider" asked for this track to be done, and I replied via pm as he requested, but during the process he wrote back that someone had just did a quick conversion for him and so I never sent him this converted and updated version for GTR2, also I saw "Advent57" was doing one after gaining goggles' permission , but as "Khan1670" said it disappeared, but apart from a few friends and a private league having this ...you are welcome to try it for now, until the proper authorised conversion is finished and released... www.motorfxuk.com/download/gtr2Nelson.rar cheers Ken |

Yes very strange that Advent57 situation. I had done the Lods for that version. It was a surprise when it was taken off the air.

I gave the track to `racerm` so he could fix the aiw issues for us, that was some time ago so im just waiting to get the track back. I dont want to hassle him about it too much im sure he`ll get it done when he can.

I can upload the unfinished version of the track again but as i said there are aiw issues, but if you want to use it as it is at the moment then i will upload it again.
A full grid offline causes problems with the car positions in the pit and also some ai cars were hitting the wall on the way out of the pit. `Khan1670` i heard that you can fix aiw issues (i think Banger mentioned it), is this true? and would you be prepared to spend some time on this track? Im sure `racerm` wouldnt mind you taking on this track. Please let me know. Advent57 Last edited by Advent57; 22 November 08 at 21:52. |

I could but I pretty much use the rFactor editor exclusively so there has to be an rfactor version of the track. Haven't learned the other editors or methods really.

It's got the same problems as his.
It's just the safety car is on the wrong side of a fence and the garage spots could be move out a bit. Sometimes cars get stuck in the fence behind. Otherwise it's ok. I don't have a lot of time right now to try and fix it. Moving next weekend

there may be some performance issues in the GTR2 version as I may have used too many higher res textures while trying to make the track look better

ooops, I remember now I was going to fix the aiw for this track, from the original downloaded version , I thought my version of the track had the new aiw?, cant find it without going through a few dvds, but for now I`ve done a quick fix on this one, altered garages, pace car in better spot, and also added rain path
@ Advent57 if you wish to try this? you probably realise the aiw will need renaming for your version.. cheers Ken |

Oh yes, you made it look much better!! I dont know the first thing about fixing aiw issues and im sorry that i dont have the spare time to learn at the moment, but is does seem a shame that people like Scca1981, Banger, Sunalp, McWolf and hopefully Racerm have all spent time on this track and i had to delete it because people were moaning that the track was released with bugs. As i said before i only race online, Banger and myself tested it to make sure it works online but it was my fault that we didn`t test it offline I wont be able to upload until Friday as during the week i only have access to my laptop and all tracks and files are on my desktop at home. If someone reading this can fix aiw issues then please contact me, otherwise i will upload the track as is with a note about the issues and the possible performance issue. Edit:- Ken we posted at almost the same time, yes ill put your new aiw in if you dont mind,we also have added startlights, if i remember right the original didnt have any. Ken if you dont mind i`d like to add your lods too. Sunalp suggested that i use yours and not his. Advent57 |

You guys did an awesome job on this I can't believe all the detail you put in the paddock. We just need Gene's little food stand haha, but wow I've never seen that many RV's there before!
