Porsche 935 @ Le Mans Sarthe

Well, since the beast is out, I'm sure some epic hotlaps have been done.
My best so far was on Le Mans Sarthe at a 3:26.914 in Pro mode with only automatic shifting (I don't own a wheel). That was about a 30 second improvement on my fastest lap to that point.
The car is amazing and I'm sure with a little more practice the time will improve even more!

How 'bout you guys?

that's the version I use....full straightaway, no chicanes. One should use the practice mode since the AI will suddenly slow down right before the start and finish during a race....and that can get ugly really fast!

for a gamepad its excelent i think.

i started to play gtl with a joystick and got stuck with elans

i think i can do it under 3:20.... but this 3:05.xx is unreal

Maybe that was due to pressing "next session" button, instead of using "time acceleration" to the end of qually?

that's possible, I don't remember. But why would skipping to the next session result in such ridiculous lap times?

Its well known bug in GTL. Usually AI qually times are many seconds faster when pressing "next session" during qually.

You should use "time acceleration" and wait until there is no AI cars on track. Then you can press "next session" and you have normal AI times

Clocked a 3:17.6xx. A perfect lap could be even faster I think.

Unfortunately the AI is so slow in the other 935's. There was a patch released that added "Lemans.svm" files to all cars which should improve the AI behavior but the 935 wasn't released yet at that time so it wasn't included

Youre a very good driver then, I found a laptime list from the 1979 race.

36 Schurti / Heyer Porsche 935/77A Gelo Sportswear International 3:36.650

41 Whittington / Whittington / Ludwig Porsche 935 K3 Porsche Kremer Racing 3:34.640

I only could manage a 3:44 so I have to practice a little more.
