Did you reconnect the wires?

What model is it (yellow, black)?
Do you have logitech wingman installed? If so it has a small section that shows you if any button or pedal is working. It will also show you if you how much signal you are getting through the pedals. |

In the logitech profiler there is a testing area, does it work properly there?

Perhaps. You could try them on another pc perhaps, other than that I don't really have any great ideas.
Asides from a visual check for damage to the connectors and the wires, but that's hardly a great idea. |

My guess is that the pots lost mechanical contact to the pedals.

I think the likely-hood of both going like that would be very rare.
If they worked a while ago and after a period of time passing now they don't. I think it sounds not like a potentiometer problem, more like a connectivity problem. 1st try usb port with another devise. 2nd check power to the wheel, those AC adapters do stop working sometimes. 3rd you can check the signal from the pots using an amp/volt meter. unplug pedals from wheel and check from the plug-end. 2 pots die at the same time? Never herd of it myself. |
