Default [WIP] Bugatti Veyron for GTR Evo

a little project i've been working on...i really want to get this in evo and add another car to the fantastic line up, but i just can not find a starting point - what tools do i need etc. i know it's time consuming if you have never done it but i'd love work myself into it so any help appreciated!

oh and if you have a good idea for a nice livery, let me know! i need something better to present this car than just blank colors but i can't think of anything that would suit the car

Wow, that looks great! It's rare to see a new model that's 'simbin-quality'
lukasz, be patient, it's probably a long way from being completed even in its original format, let alone conversions

Very nice model! I hope you'll be able to get it in game!
And for the paint, either a classical Bugatti 2 tones, or a blue base like the EB110 from Le Mans:

I hope you don't mind some Photoshop over your render...

Nice rendering.
What about the cockpit?
What does it look like?

I see this is a GTP-type car, which looks very nice indeed!

But will there also be an original street-going Veyron?

I bet its made it from "scratch" - using import/export/conversion tools

good eyes. yeah', it's based on the nfs model. i had to remodel some parts, but overall it was a very, very good base model. seeing how shitty the game it is...they did a good job on the models

textures are 99% mine though. (that's why i actually started the project - to improve my texturing skill. i did a lot of modelling over the course of the years, but never was into textures THAT much )

i'd be glad to convert it to all gmotor based games, but i still am desperate for a starting point in how to convert it to any of them!
i found the dev tools on the rfactor homepage, sadly they do not work with max 2009. i guess i'd have to go via zmodeler, but i can't seem to find a good step-to-step tutorial on how to.

weopm, I don't know if it will help you, but have a look at this tutorials compiled Rictus Grin, some might be useful for you. Especially one at the bottom: 'Getting a Basic Car Ingame'. It's pretty old, so for GTR2 and not EVO...

That'd be a great mod. It's a pity there's no track fit for driving beasts from Koenigsegg and Bugatti. But, nevertheless, it'd be wonderful to break in a thousand horses.

thank you very much. this is basically what i was looking for. i found a lot of "gtr2 to gtr evo" etc. threads, those will be helpful later on. but for now a simple getting it in any gmotor game is very helpful. i'll take a good look at this, thanks again.

if the tutorial work's the basic car is done, i have lod's and everything finished. what is missing at this point are physics (i am not sure yet if i just use standard for example koenigsegg physics and alter them or if i am going to try something completely new) and a cockpit.

so it could still take some time.

maybe search for someone who can do the physics, I think there will be enough people willing to help make a Veyron. So this is the GT version right, no 400 km an hour supercar, would be good if there would be the streetcar too

Hey this is looking awesome so far. I hope you finish this project with good handling etc. Also as many others have said a road version would be better.

I would only personally like to see the road version as its my favorite car and have seen many of them.
