Default Pedal down does not equal full throttle

I'm using the driving force gt wheel with GTR2 and I've adjusted the throttle and brake sensitivity to max but when I push either pedal to the floor the bar does not fill completely. So effectively I'm working with ~90% throttle and braking (which is obvious in training). Is there anyway to fix this?

You could try the following in the windows game controller program.
When you calibrate it, and are using the pedals, only press them say 3/4 of the way down. It will register that lower value as full throttle/brake.
Then when you go into game, GTR should pick that up, and you will get full throttle on the pedals, albeit perhaps at less than the full travel.
This is what I did when my old wingman formula force intermittently wouldn't show full throttle, and it worked.
Someone else might have a better solution though.
In games like GPL/GP4 you can set the maximum throttle/brake/steering values to whatever you want, so in theory you could have almost digital input if you wanted for whatever reason.
The gmotor sims (rfactor, race, GTR 2) seem to use the windows/ external calibration for the maximum axis values.

I have a Logitech DFP, and I sometimes have to open up the pedal unit, de-fluff it, and start again. I sometimes get no reaction when I press either pedal, as well as them not going all the way.

There are either 9 or 11 screws in the pedal unit, the first time you un-do them they are really really well screwed in so take care.

When separating the top and bottom halves, be careful, as the pedals and their motors etc just rest in position, there are no screws etc to hold them there when the unit is in two halves.

There could be a lot of grease in there too, so be careful you don't get it everywhere.

The first time I did it took me half an hour, but every subsequent time it is only 5 minutes.

Iv had to do that, my brake pedal would register about 10% when i had my foot flat on the throttle. There not the most sturdy set but they've lasted 5 years now, albeit with funny noises from the wheel and i bit of lumpiness!

Mine have lasted quite a while too, and I can't justify the expense of a G25.

Hi 93coupe,

Or you could use DXTweek from here;

http://www.wingmanteam.com/latest_software/gadgets.htm

It allows you to adjust full throttle from a short pedal throw.

Could be calibration

press both pedals full and release
Unplug pedals
Plug in pedals
Go control panel/ game controllers
press pedals should see 100%

If you dont get 100% Davey is more likely right
