Whats with the chief saying shut the motor off all the time before they can start fueling. I hit I which is ignition the car shuts off but the clown keeps saying it. It seems like I sit in the pits forever.

I used to have the problem with the pitcrew telling me to shut down car only in GTR, not heard of this problem in GTR2, I let the game turn off the engine, maybe the problem is only when you turn it off yourself.

It would be good if you could set compulsory pit stops during stand alone or championship races in single player, where a pit stop isn't necessary due to the fuel consumption being adequate for the race. Atleast then you could pit for repairs or a tyre change without losing too much time.

Just hitting the starter isn't enough, you also need to kill the ignition switch which is separate from the starter switch. Hope this helps.
