The Ring-Taxi by Mayo.... a strange thing

I downloaded this wonderful car, but I found a problem and I don't know if this depends on my pc or something wrong in the game Setups; anyhow, in the cockpit view of the car the speedometer is disabled and I can't see how fast
I'm going... is this a problem bound to my pc or a 'bug' of the Mod Car? Among the game hotkeys with the number 3 of my keyboard I can lock or unlock the speedometer but in this case it doesn't work... I encounterd the same strange thing with the Lambo cockpit view....

can anybody give some explanations or suggestions???

I have the same ''problem'' in the BMW RingTaxi.

I quess he disabbled it.

And that Speedo in the Lamborghini, well SimBin says that the real car doesn't have one, so that also their car doesn't have one.
But I know a real Lambo racing driver.
And he says that there is one in the 2004 Reiter Lambo.

So this is what you have to do to get a speedo in the 2004 Murcielago's...

Open the .CAR file with notepad, it can be found here:
\GTR2\GameData\Teams\GT\Lamborghini Murcielago Teams\Team Name

Now in the .CAR file look for this:

I know that. It's actully a bug that comes from PHP that made the original CSL, and i just did'nt know how to fix it. So intead I paited it black to make it fade in to the rest of the interior. If I want a gear counter or those things, I use the HUD. It's a stupid bug, i know, but it was just a fun little afternoon project, that i wanted to share

gtrNL, I want to thank you because now Lambo cockpit works fine ( I can't believe that racing Lambos have not a speedometer.... it's just like a runner should face a long distance without shoes....:cry: :cry: )

Mayo, your Mod is fantastic, and that 'bug' is not relevant....

Hello to anybody. Some weeks ago Mayo wrote that the bug concerning the disabled speedometer in the cockpit view can not be fixed. Anyhow, I've noticed this:
if I edit in the .car file the 'Graphics' string making it to point to the original .cas file (BMW_M3GTR.cas- in the main folder of BMW Teams). the Ring-Taxi has now a wing just like GTR BMW version but the speedometer is working fine. I don't know if this can be so important (I'm sure Mayo already knows about this strange behaviour of GTR2), but in this way the cockpit view is complete.

I also have the same prob with my drift mod that I'm working on
I removed the wing from a few vipers to make them look like streetcars
and the motec isn't working, but I fixed it

Just put a texture of a broken LCD screen on the motec
looks cool and original to

(MOTECNL.TGA)
