allright now Drivah.....I know you have been in the 1.38's. Are you any faster yet? And for all the speed demons out there, you know the 550 is the fastest, then the Lambo....so will anyone try the saleen? (Karlos) It does handle nice but I couldn't get it going fast. See ya on the track tonight!

I unfortunatly can't race the S7, I can make it go fast but even with hard tyres, the rears get up to 105C within 5 laps even if I reduce the pressure to minimum. So its nice to drive and fast but it will never finish the race.

Not sure what I'm driving, I won't pick a car till Thursday.

I ran the lambo last ngiht for about 30 laps and the best I could do was a 1.395 run and I was pushing it pretty hard. I am going to go back tonight and see if I can massage the car a little more to squeeze into the 1.38's somehow...

yup...cause I ain't the fastest, and I managed 1:39.495 qual trim. In race, 1:40 to 1:41 full fuel load consistently.

Hmm, I'm doing 1:42.6 on race fuel in the number 1 viper, needs another hours work on the setup though.

Is everybody going to be in a 550 or a lambo??????? I could be left at the back all alone????

Well ultimate pace in the Viper was a 1:40:825 so 3 - 4 seconds off the pace. I hate the ferrari but I think I'll try one.

Question: Are you guys using the 550 with the michelins or the pirrellis, I know michelins are usually better but the high tyre temperture makes me think the pirrelli's might be the best for this one?

Just a note of humour, has anyone noticed when leaving the garage, the "pit out" exit arrow points you in the wrong direction? it took me a while to figure it out as I rode around the garage, the long way. So now when I leave, I just go the opposite direction. At the pit road exit, if you turn right, yes right, you can ride around in the infield on a couple of roads.....one goes to the tunnel, and the other goes back to the garage and pits. I had to see where they went!

Well if you Drive the Viper you start on the opposite side of the garage beside one of the trucks so it points in the right direction

Still I went the other way to see whats around its fun driving round the carpark :roflmao:

Yeap, in everything except the viper.

The S7 was the worst of them, even with hards the rears would be at 107C after 5 laps. Maybe my slow viper might be a good choice after all, I can see a lot of retirements in this race.

I'll be taking the Viper too. I don't know if I'm in yet though, I was a little late at signing up because I was at work and the thread hasn't been updated yet.

I've had no practice either...

I tried the 550 and hated it, spent 3 hours getting it the way i like it and still hated it. Then i tried the lambo, even on default setup you can do 1:40's with race fuel.

I've tweaked it so i can consistantly do 1:40.5 to 1:41.2 in race trim.
In Qual trim I've done a 1:38.9. I can't believe the times the 550's are doing.

So my aim for the race is to be best of the non-ferrari cars

I have been driving the saleen and have dipped into the 1:39s. I am much slower in the 550...maybe in the 1:40s.

Actually I can drive the Saleen longer on mediums than any other car. I really shred the rears and lefts in the ferrari.

After almost 1 week of testing i decided to race with the lambo. i think its better for me because i can run constant lap times without many "cold spines" along the way.the lambo is easier to drive and more relax

No, you asked to sign up but due to oversubscription this week your name was not added to the race list. Instead, your request was added to the Watkins Glen GP - not enough room list, which you obviously didn't bother to read, along with several others.

And sending abusive PM's to an admin will not generally help your cause either.
