Looking at the Mclarens cas file the 1st person drivers entry is cancelled out.

// Instance=FPDRIVER
// {
// Moveable=True
// <NOTSPIN><DASHHIGH> MeshFile=INT_DRIVER_STYLE<56>.gmt CollTarget=False HATTarget=False ShadowReceiver=True LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(2.00)
// }

Simply remove the // from each line shown above.

I've got the fp driver fixed up as good as i care to, lol. You'll need to add the values below to each .car file. Keep inmind these values are based on the 001 .car file and its eyepoint differs from the other two. Simply copy over the 001eyepoint values to the other .car files. I'll include the values here also.

Eyepoint=(0.000, 0.408, -0.40372)

FirstPersonDriverPosition=(-0.30, -0.012, 0.24)
ShiftStickPosition=(-0.25, 0.20, -0.81)

ClutchPedalPosition=(0.04, -0.08, -1.1)
BrakePedalPosition=(-0.01, -0.08, -1.1)
AcceleratorPedalPosition=(-0.07, -0.08, -1.1)

Ok these values should be close, just remember to edit the // out of the cas file as I posted above. If theres too much confusion doing this I can post my 001 car file.

Values for these are as follows: (RIGHT/LEFT, UP/DOWN, FORWARD/BACK)

RIGHT/LEFT: negative value moves right, positive moves left.
UP/DOWN: negative value moves down, postive moves up.
FORWARD/BACK: negative value moves forward, positive moves back.

Just be warned, once you get the object, be it arms or legs close, small increments, ie .10 , will suffice.

Also keep inmind the shifter location, in the Mclarens case its to the right of the driver, for the animation to appear correct, proper arm shifting, one must use a left hand driver animation, despite the fact the car is a right hand steer.
Give it a go, if you can't get it lined up I'll help further.

Ok heres a fix for the animated arms, its late Friday night here and I work this weekend, Monday I'll have a look at the animated legs. I had to adjust the eyepoint slightly also.

Eyepoint=(-0.35, 0.46, -0.24)

FirstPersonDriverPosition=(-0.61, 0.07, 0.42)
ShiftStickPosition=(-0.642, 0.24, -0.76)

Hope this helps

The fact that you tried, says alot in my book. Thanks, try to have a good weekend. I will let you know how they it turns out and which one it works on. It seems that not all the car files are the same for some reason or another. There was one hdc file the other day that was from another car and I wonder why it drove to good and got to looking on they forgot to change the cg to 46/54 for the car but he hdc file was sill at 50/50. Anyway thanks for the trouble. Keep you posted and I will keep trying to figure out some of the others.

Heres a quick fix for the Ultima:

SteeringWheelAxis=(0.0, 0.2588, 0.9659)
SteeringWheelType=8
FirstPersonDriverPosition=(0.15, -0.10, -0.35)
ShiftStickPosition=(0.00, 0.220, -0.61)

ClutchPedalPosition=(-0.17, -0.30, -0.8)
BrakePedalPosition=(-0.26, -0.30, -0.8)
AcceleratorPedalPosition=(-0.34, -0.30, -0.8)

Keep inmind these are temporary fixes, I'm not affilated with the mod team building this mod in anyway. I will say this though, the cockpit models do need more thought if the plan is to include the FP driver in the final release. Limited room for the animated legs makes it impossible to position properly, with the Ultima and Lotus, I've spent little time lining them up, more so just positioned so they don't interfere with the steering wheel or animated arms.

Thanks was also needed this one also. The fix for the Lotus works on all 3 that I have. I did have to replace the exterior view coord. of the older two with he new one numbers to that they were on the right hand side of he car and not in the middle.

THe McLaren fix only works on the #1 car though, if you have time could you posssiblity look at those also. I hate to bother you on a projec that is not yours but I have asked for help over at rsc with no reply back. Thabks for all the help so far..

Not sure what you mean the Mclaren fix only works on the 001 car but heres entries from the .car file that should be copied to all three Mclaren .car files.

CameraTarget=(0.00, 0.630, 0.16)
MaxSeatRear=0.01
MaxSeatFront=-0.06
MaxSeatUp=0.01
MaxSeatDown=-0.01
FrontWheelsInCockpit=0

SteeringWheelAxis=(0.0, 0.2588, 0.9659)
SteeringWheelType=8
ExternalDriverPosition=(0.00, -0.32, -0.48)
FirstPersonDriverPosition=(-0.30, -0.012, 0.24)
LeftSideSteering=1
ShiftStickPosition=(-0.25, 0.20, -0.81)

ClutchPedalPosition=(0.04, -0.08, -1.1)
BrakePedalPosition=(-0.01, -0.08, -1.1)
AcceleratorPedalPosition=(-0.07, -0.08, -1.1)

The new cars, "The Lark and The Pepsi have the same car numbers as the HFGT Schnitzer BMW cars. Sorry for the confusion. Is here not a numbering system in place for people who put out new skins?
