Default download manager error?

hi, i seem to be having a strange problem. i was downloading the 102mb Raceking Nordschleife v0_9 with flashget on the 22nd, it got to 94% and then it just stopped. i tried to access the site and it wouldn't let me for a couple of days, when i got access again i tried to finish the file and after a few seconds the site would no longer load, again for a few days. is it because i was using a download manager to download files and it assumed i was a bandwidth hogging spammer? i haven't tried downloading the track since the 25th just in case it happens again so i could ask this question.

my current ISP gives me a static IP so rebooting to get a new IP won't work to help me finish off the file. any advice?

we have a script that ip bans anyone who has over 150 active http connections to the server at one time..

It sounds like you are triggering that as it adds the offending ip to the server firewall for ~24 hours
