I saw an 8C for rFactor. Maybe someone could convert it to GTR 2. I 'would find that very nice

Of course with permission from the original owner

it´s from a addon released for fia gt championship mod 1.0 for rFactor. This patch adds some DBR9, C6R and this alfa...

edit: where did u get that skin for the alfa??? this skin isn´t in the addon i think...

as there were no credits for this model, I may go ahead with a proper conversion for GTR2.

I proposed this in a request for permissions where none can be found....

Proposal Item: Alfa 8c from FIA-GT add-on for rFactor

Notice is given to expiration of a project where no contact can be obtained and a proper public notice has been posted in an "active" rFactor ( or other platform ) forum or other public means. This applys to projects where an excess of 3 calendar years of no development, conversion, permissions or other notice has been able to be located or where no original credits can be located. Come ye now forward to speak the knowledge of the "proposal" item and whence communication may be obtained, or direct knowledge of an active or a non-permission status via an original content member. This applys to any and all previously used 3d material, images and content to complete the conversion process. For developers, any and all original documentation in regards to original contributers should be incorporated into the new release / conversion documentation, and contain as much possible information about the original content and authors upon project anouncement.

This is an open invitation to the community to accecpt this outline draft as a non binding community contract. Your opinion is welcome.

Morning Wood I must say that I am in full agreement with your method of notification for conversion. There are far too many works that are sitting out there with no readmes or info contacts.

These works sit out there unused or converted. People need to put contact info and readmes in all of their work so that we will know how to keep in touch and understand the origin of the file. If someone converts something, puts it on the net without taking the time to do a readme or contact info it is fair game.

This notification system gives many who might have info chance to speak up.

I have seen this car for a long time too and waited for someone to convert it. I hope you do convert it Morning I look forward to it. Add it to your supercar pack.

I would love this car too, if someone can make a good conversion of it. And if anyone can, I'd trust Mr. Wood to do it. I don't know who converted it to rF but I think the original model is from the game Squadra Corse - http://www.italiaspeed.com/2006/moto...ione/2012.html

Could be wrong. Would love to see it, especially if in the GT2 form the car was originally planned to race in.

it is ingame now, working on the physics and team skin / windows etc... engine is done, tires resized, cockpit view fixed. Need to work on reflections...

If I knew more about it I would try.

I just don't have much time away from working. Which means hardly any time for the PC.

I should add that by saying new bbs I mean the ones ingame aready' the m3gtr wheels and the o.z. rims the vettes run.
