Default Encountered Problem With Mills Metropark v1.1

Hi everyone,

Earlier today, I downloaded the Mills Metropark v1.1 circuit from http://www.******************/ and I extracted the folder and I put the folder into the locations folder of my GTR 2, But the track is not showing up when I look for it in the circuit list.

When I extracted the file. It gaved me a folder called "Mills incl highres textures". That is the folder that I installed into my location folder.

Then, I tried the following.....

I made a new folder called "Mills" in my location folder of GTR2 and I put the texture pack, Mills long, Mills long, Rev, and Mills short into the folder that I named "Mills". I also added the readme file and all the other files that was in the folder.

That time, The track showed up in my circuit list, But when I trie to load it. The game just crashed on me.

Can someone tell me how I can install this properly, So I can run this circuit. All help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Had this version a while now, and I installed it more, or less, the way you have too..I've had no problems at all with this track....I would try downloading the track again, maybe a bad file.....Other then that, I don't know..You had installed it correctly, the first time......

Best wishes....Swifty

PS, This is the way I did it: 1) Created a Folder (on desktop) called MILLS. 2) Opened this MILLS folder, and put in it, my Winrar download of MILLS track. 3) Right clicked Winrar, and choose EXTRACT HERE, I then had all the files extracted into the MILLS folder (That I had created) 4) Removed the Winrar download, from the MILLS folder. 5) Closed up the MILLS folder,(Which is still on my desktop) 6) put this MILLS folder into C:/GTR2/GameData/Locations. 7) Fire up GTR2...and way yea go.
Worked for me.....try it THAT way and see...

Thank you Swifty. It installed perfectly this time around.

This is the first time ive encounted a problem installing a certain track even after installing 40 tracks or so. Great track btw. Hope to see some more of those Rfactor conversion tracks in the future. Thanks again.

I like the reverse layout of this circuit best, it seems to flow better.

No problem, glad it works now I also need to thank you too, because, if not for YOUR post, as I had not noticed the folder with the HIGH RES textures. It was only checking out the track, for your problem, that I realized they were there, So I have now installed the High Res file..and now this tracks even BETTER.. So, thank "YOU"...

Best wishes Swifty
