description I started working again on an old project of mine (which I've never shown before): Early 2000's Manthey style bodywork for 996 GT3 RS. I'm not sure if this is worth finishing, maybe it would be better to throw this one in the trash bin and start over. Maybe using the RS as a base is a bad idea, and I would be better off building this on a 996 BT? Hmm...

I dont think the biturbo is a good base. To me, the car looks (from pix) like a souped up Cup car if anything so probably the RS/R is the best base or even the Cup itself

I'm thinking that the "Souped Up Cup Car" mentioned by Dark Side on the first post of this thread would probably be a better option.

The problem with the GT3 RS based version is that I'd rather not remap everything but just the edited parts and I'm running out of space to do that properly on the GT3 RS template. If I try to squeeze them somewhere somehow, I get distorted textures and other such problems. Plus, the original template is already a horrible puzzle, so I'll just end up making it even worse.
